SealMaxx Wood Stain Options

In addition to sealing your wood surface, we offer several wood stain options. Add richness to your surface with one of these stains. We use oil-based, semi-transparent stains.

These stains provide UV protection for your wood, which complements the moisture protection SealMaxx sealant offers. Stains are a blend of resin, pigment, oil, and algaecide to protect the surface from the elements. Stain can usually be applied within 1 or 2 weeks after the sealant process and works on all types of wood. The average time is 3 to 5 years before you need another application.

The following stain colors are available. Note that how they look when applied may vary depending on the type, age, and condition of the wood.

SealMaxx restored my 19 year old deck, which was grey and ugly, and made it look new again. It is great to know I will never have to worry about sealing it again, as I have done that in the past, and it can get expensive. I looked at other companies, but everyone else just bought some sealant at a hardware store and put it on for you. SealMaxx’s 25 year guarantee is well worth the little bit of extra money up front. SealMaxx was a great solution for me, as it would be for anyone with a wooden deck.
